Question: Do you know if or when Heather Morris will be returning to Glee? Or any other Glee scoop?  –Abi
Ausiello: I recently addressed the Heather/Brittany issue, so I come to you bearing “other Glee scoop.” Series vet Jayma Mays tells us that in a couple weeks she’ll be shooting her penultimate Season 5 appearance, in an episode that, she has been told, features “good stuff” for Emma. “From what I understand, it’s a really good episode for her and for Will,” the Millers costar adds, “so they’re telling me to be excited!”

They were kind of strict about what we could watch growing up.

It wasn’t my choice [to leave Glee]. The creators decided to do it. We knew it was coming last year – some other characters will also be leaving this season. It’s very sad to be going but I understand why they do it. It’s about getting new blood into the show. I really enjoyed playing Emma. I don’t know how I’m written out yet – I’m so curious.

Connor: With Jayma Mays now on The Millers, is she done with Glee?
After this season, yes. She confirmed her exit with us while we were visiting the set of The Millers. “This will be my last season on Glee. I’m doing a couple episodes and then we’re finishing it up,” she reveals. “I don’t know what they’re going to go with the character. Ryan Murphy is the mastermind over there and I’m sure he has amazing ideas. But they haven’t told me yet.” How do you think they’ll write off Emma?

Jayma Mays – who plays neurotic school counselor Emma Pillsbury and half of fan fave couple “Wemma” with Matthew Morrison’s Will Scheuster – confirmed to Access Hollywood the upcoming season will be her last.

“This is going to be my last season,” Jayma told Access on the blue carpet for the “Smurfs 2” premiere in Hollywood over the weekend.

The news came after the actress – whose character tied the knot with Will on the Season 5 finale – was asked about all the changes coming to the show.

“I’m finishing up this season, so I’m not sure what direction and who’s coming on and who’s not,” she explained. […] As for a possible return to “Glee” as a special guest, Jayma said she’d jump at the opportunity.

“I would love to do that,” she said.

She’s not off the show," a Glee source tells us. “She’s been cleared to appear in a few episodes [of Glee]. There’s no schedule or plan yet though.

For Jayma Mays, where there’s a Will there’s a way.

The actress, who spent the last four years romancing Matthew Morrison’s Will Schuester onGlee, has joined CBS’ new fall comedy The Millers as Will Arnett’s sister, TVLine has learned.

Mays replaces Mary Elizabeth Ellis, who played the Debbie character in the pilot. (Producers are also recasting Deb’s hubby, originally portrayed by Michael Rappaport.)

It’s not clear what Mays’ new series regular gig means for her Glee alter ego Emma, who married Will in last month’s finale. (It’s worth noting that Mays only appeared on the Fox musical dramedy on a recurring basis last season.)

The Millers, which also stars Margo Martindale and Beau Bridges as Arnett’s feuding parents, premieres Thursday, Sept. 27 at 8:30/7:30c following The Big Bang Theory.
