Glee fans already know what a big heart Coach Bieste has. It turns out the role isn’t much of a stretch for portrayer Dot-Marie Jones, who is just as sensitive and compassionate as her character. 

Wetpaint Entertainment recently caught up with the Dot at the Wilshire Ebell Theater in Los Angeles on February 1. The Gleestar was there for the Gay Men’s Chorus of L.A.’s performance ofIt Gets Better, a touring anti-bullying musical.

If you’re not following Dot on twitter, both her and her partner (Bridgett) just got in a pretty bad car accident on Wednesday - they just got released from the hospital today. Dot has a broken right knee cap, broken right hand and stitches in her left shin, and Bridgett has internal bruising. 

If you’re so inclined, tweet her best wishes and happy thoughts as they recover.
